Clash of The Titans

Aug-17-2008 By ColourfulWorld

Everyone anticipated a clash between World No. 1 and World No. 2 this evening. Aliff is the only one providing a giant 2 storey high screen so automatically it became the main spot for the local Malaysia badminton fans.

A lot of empty seats before the match…

The crowd all ready to witness the potential historical moment.

At the end of the day, World No. 2 Lee Chong Wei lost to world No.1 Lin Dan in the Bejing 2008 Badminton Finals. Though Malaysia got a silver medal but the overall game was far from what was being expected. Since beginning it was a clear one sided game. A lot of mistakes plus Lin Dan’s many powerful and precise jumping smashes made Lee Chong Wei totally vulnarable. Nevertheless Lee put up a good fight despite the odds and for that he deserves the applause.

P/S: Lin Dan is very showing off by throwing his racquet and his shoes to his supporters. =p

Still a job well done I reckon!
Lin Dan earned his right to be showing off, not everyone can handle that amount of pressure and still came out on top!

Yup, Lee Chong Wei has tried his best. I felt sorry for him when seeing him receiving the silver medal with a sad expression. Hopefully he will not give up that easily.

Lin Dan… Hahaha…We’ll see about that in the future.
