How Do Flies Mate?
Most of us in science stream studied before the human reproductive system but we didn’t really study insect reproductive system, did we? Anyway there are 2 known method of reproduction, sexual and asexual. Well then, today I’m going show you how insects, especially flies mate. Curious huh? Relax…
This is how the flies look at from the front, and the following is taken from the back. Look at the reddish segment extended from the male fly, it’s ugly and humongous. What is the name of that creepy part? I seriously don’t know. Compare the size of the fly and the size of that monster. If humans were to have that kind of ratio… =p
This is the first time I see flies do not react to incoming objects or vibrating surfaces. I wonder if flies experience orgasm? =)

Yup, there was a movie “The Fly”. I remember watching it almost 15 years ago on TV2 and shouted like crazy. That is the first movie that sparked my imagination about science, particularly biology.

LOL, just being lucky enough to take that shot. The flies were generous enough for me to ran up to my room to get my phone, ran back down and approached them noisily. They couldn’t be bothered by my movement…
I hope I could really take more of those rare moments and share with everyone! =)
