It has been hiding within me all year long, just that I didn’t voice out my concerns. I don’t wish to add in extra pressure to all of us. =p

I agree with you. We’re here for a purpose. I’m still exploring though I have something vague in mine currently. Like what pelf said, in the end up to me to decide how to fit and contribute to my family, my society, my country and the world.

Well, stages of life to me, I know not! My personal viewpoint is life is short and we can’t bring everything into our 3″x6″ but what we can do after this life is to leave behind our legacy. To some, it may be our children, achievement, business empire, a leap for mankind, good cause to the society or whatever one can name it. Think about this.

Another thing which made me look like a “care-free” person is I try and if the opportunity comes I take it. A few examples are like having a grant to do my masters and the recent government post. We believe that we are on earth with a purpose, good and bad things happen for a reason. Only time will reveal them, in the mean time just walk through the stage we are in. [God has a plan for each of us which I/we don't know.]

I don’t quite sure what surrender by fate that you mean. But just remember “The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.”

Merry Christmas! I’m planning to draft my new resolution soon. Hehe..

I hope it makes you feel better to know that everybody goes through such “identity crisis”. The part where we question our every step and decision and the part where we envy our friends and their achievements.

The most important thing, I believe, is to have a clear goal of what YOU want to do, where YOU want to go to, and what YOU want to be.

I agree with you. It’s the justification we use to validate our actions that causes a lot of undesirable incidents. I wonder if those who bought fur had really thought about the implication of their purchase.
